Conferences

As an important aspect of achieving HTPAA aims an inaugural conference was held in April 1998 with presentations by members and invited guest speakers.

On March 18, 2000, the second HTPAA Tool Conference was held at Rydges in Carlton (Vic)

The third HTPAA Tool Conference was held on 16 March 2002 at Rydges in Carlton (Vic).

The fourth HTPAA Tool Conference was held on 20 March 2004 at Rydges in Carlton (Vic).

The fifth HTPAA Tool Conference was be held on 7-8 April 2006 at Rydges in Carlton (Vic).

As this year is the 25 anniversary of the formation of the HTPAA, there will be a 25th Anniversary Tool Meeting - it will consist of an all day meeting - similar to the bi-monthly General Meetings, but stretched over a full day, with a spit roast lunch. In the evening, after the meeting - there will be a members and attendees tool sale at the same venue. It will be held at the Glenferrie Primary School on Saturday 12 April 2008. On Sunday 13 April, there will be a public Tool Sale as per our usual format. Attendees are invited to bring some special tools for sale, and to mount displays of interesting items or collections, accompanied by information or research about the topic on display.
