Displays & Demonstrations

The following is a listing of the usual annual events. Specific dates and precise venue locations can be obtained from the Association's Secretary
(see "Office Bearers" page) or refer to HTPAA Calendar of Events on this Website.

Working With Wood Show, usually held in October at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

Gulf Station, a National Trust 1850s working farm property, at Yarra Glen approx. 40 kms East of Melbourne. The HTPAA usually partakes in activities such as Pioneer Festivals and other events staged at Gulf Station - see HTPAA Calndar for details of specific events.

Various museums, libraries and other venues by invitation or arrangement. 

Starting 1st March 2007 - a four month display of approx 125 tools from the Caine Tool Collection (National Trust) at the Kyneton Museum.
Official opening is 17th March - Hours of operation - Friday to Sunday 11am - 4pm.
Address - 67 Piper St Kyneton Victoria.

On 21st April at 11am, Frank Ham, Secretary HTPAA will give a talk and hold a tool identification session at the Kyneton Museum - this is your chance to learn something about The HTPAA and the National Trust's Caine Tool Collection from someone who has a broad knowledge of the Caine Collection and tool collecting in general. Bring along those mystery items or that special tool and Frank may be able to give the audience some detailed information or knowledgeable opinion regarding it.
