Vintag Power Tool Collectors Mailboard
The HTPAA are hosting a separate mailboard relating to Vintage
Power Tools especially Australian ones.
This mailboard is much simpler to use than the MC2 one, everything can
be done by email if one so desires.
If you have an interest in Vintage Power Tools, and Catalogues,
Ephemera relating to them etc,
send an email to Powersig-request@htpaa.org.au
with the word: subscribe in the subject line, nothing more. You will
get a message back to confirm, and you must reply to complete the enrolment.
This mailboard as per the others is completely free.
When joining, it is polite to give a short introduction of yourself
and your interests to the group.
You are encouraged to add picture attachments to your post - we ask
that total message does not exceed 1 Mb.
If you have some historic or interesing Power Tools to share with the
group, please send pictures and any information, catalogue material,
timeframes etc as known.

be set up.
Wrench Collectors Mailboard

Tool Collectors Mailboard on mc2
A community called Oztoolclub has been set up
on mc2. There is also the capability to set up a: chat room,
guest book, Members can have webpages (free). Oztoolclub is an unmoderated
mailboard, available to tool collectors and enthusiasts. Members must
be registered to participate. Registration applications go to owner
for approval.
The mailboard offers a fast and convenient means
of group communication. It can be used to publicise special events,
to advise members of upcoming sales and auctions, items for sale
or wanted etc. Anything tool related or Club related is OK.
Members are expected to observe netiquette at
all times and to avoid any inappropriate language. A detailed
set of rules are to be read in conjunction with registration.
No attachments are to be sent to the mailboard.
There is an area on mc2 for attachments(myfiles).
The mailboard is located on the Vicnet website,
and members wanting to participate need to be registered with
Vicnet. Registration is free and the mailboard is also free. There
is a link to the mailboard below.

The Vicnet mc2 facility is provided as a community service by
the Victorian Government. There is a whole host of information
in the user guide and even more detailed information on the Vicnet
site.
