A look at early Power Tools made by Australian-based companies with some imported items as well.
Australia had a number of manufacturer's of portable powered hand tools, going back to the beginning of portable tool manufacture.
The HTPAA has made a collection of these tools to preserve some examples for the historic record. many have come from member and we thank members and others who have made donations.
The majority of these tools are designed for approximately 240 Volts A/C 50 cycle power sources. A few can be used with both A/C and D/C power sources and rarely we find one made for 12 Volt power, both A/C & D/C.
Other tools and makers to follow when photography completed.
