Antique & Collectable Hand Tool Market

The HTPAA is not able to hold its Antique & Collectable Tool Market in the regular indoor venue due to COVID restrictions.

We have arranged to have an outdoor market on Sunday 21st March at the National Steam Centre, 1200 Ferntree Gully Rd, Scoresby. (Eastlink Freeway adjoins the Steam Centre).

This is the venue where the HTPAA hold displays during the Melbourne Steam Traction Engine Club's annual Steamfest held on the March long weekend.

The Tool Market will be on a lawned area and will will run from 9am to 2.30pm.

Entry will be $5 per person.

Please see the flyer for further details including contacts and a map of the general location.

HTPAA Australian Collection

The HTPAA Australian Collection has tools by a large number of Australian manufacturers. The Collection has been assembled largely by donation with some careful purchases of selected items. The Association thanks all donors who have helped to build the Collection.

The HTPAA welcomes any additional ephemera and reference material regarding Australian tools and makers. If you can supply any of these items, or wish to leave some feedback, please email the Curator.

The HTPAA is compiling information on Australian tool makers as well as information relating to individual tools.

Presently you can view information and images related to:

Individual Australian Makers
Examples of Australian Hand Planes
