Newsletter/Tool Chest Archive

Tool Chest front cover evolutionThe Hand Tool Preservation Association of Australia Inc. (HTPAA) was originally called the Hand Tool Preservation Association (HTPA) until it was incorporated in 1992.

The original publication of the HTPA was only the Newsletter until the journal The Tool Chest was established in April 1992 as a quarterly magazine of hand tool-related articles and the newsletter focussed on membership-related information.

The Tool Chest (& Newsletter) archive is reproduced here both for the informative hand tool reference material contained in the various issues and as a perspective of how the HTPAA as an organisation has evolved over time. Issues of The Tool Chest will be added progressively.

NOTE: As the Newsletters are large files they have been split into several set of pages but may still take a little time to fully display - be patient and you will be rewarded!
